Why Indians Suffer Racism Much In The UK

Racism is a not easy to eradicate because it extends beyond the bounds of a social problem. It is an individual problem and just like any other societal problem in the developed world, and it is validated by a small group of people who refuse to act like it is the 21st century. Racism comes from negative self-perception and feelings of not having what others have and hence the need to take out on others who you feel are the cause of this problem. This is a misplaced notion and the need to exercise power over those you deem to be below you are outdated behaviours.
The primary reason for racism against Indians or any other minority group in the UK and Europe is ignorance, the worst kind. The vicious cycle of ignorance what keeps racism alive. Only education as to why racism in any context is inappropriate will solve this problem. If we possess the confidence to put our knowledge in action, we will definitely know how to act better. Racist in the UK grow up watching acts of discrimination against minority groups, and everyone around them appeared to be doing the same so that is where they get validation.
A section of people in the UK are threatened by Indians and other minority groups so they act in a racist manner around them. Racism to this section of the population is in a bid to protect their own kind from displacement. It easy to not like Indians in your native country, this is because they always seem to make a good life for themselves, sometimes even better than natives due to their hardworking and industrious nature. The fear of being replaced in jobs, universities and other positions is what makes racists tick. This fear of displacement is irrational and should not be an excuse to discriminate against others.
